Research on the Intake Port of a Uniflow Scavenging GDI Opposed-Piston Two-Stroke Engine

چکیده

The intake port structure optimization is very important for the uniflow scavenging opposed-piston two-stroke engine, as affects efficiency and turbulence kinetic energy thus further impacts engine indicated efficiency. This paper aims at improving efficiency, presenting a comprehensive study on concerning both energy. First, three-dimensional model based computational fluids dynamics established validated. Subsequently, different numbers of ports are compared analyzed from perspectives Furthermore, double-ports selected with consideration compact high Then, radial angle width optimized response surface method. results show that increases in relative exhibits significant increase within speed range 1000–4000 rpm reaches maximum value 39.5% around 2000 rpm.
